Kairos is a publication on technology, artificial intelligence and software development. Notes, experiments and analysis on the tools that are reshaping how we build — and on where the field is heading.

The name comes from the Greek καιρός (kairós): the right, opportune moment. That’s the idea behind it — cutting through the noise to understand technology at the moment it actually matters.

What you’ll find here

  • 🤖 Artificial intelligence — models, real-world applications, trends
  • 💻 Software development — tools, techniques, lessons from the field
  • 🚀 Product & tech — how technology changes the way we work

No fluff, no hype for its own sake — just substance.

Who’s behind it

Kairos is written by Nicolò Marana, a Senior Generative AI Expert.

My path in AI started in 2016 with deep learning, and took an early experimental turn with a Master’s thesis that combined deep learning and reinforcement learning to build an autonomous trading agent. Since then I’ve followed the field as it moved from machine learning and NLP to today’s generative AI and agentic systems — always with the same question in mind: how do these technologies become practical tools in real business contexts?

I’ve been working hands-on with generative AI since 2021, from early GPT-based experimentation to enterprise use cases spanning large language models, RAG, AI agents, workflow automation and business-tool integrations. In my work I focus on AI agents, Copilot-based solutions, knowledge extraction, document intelligence, process automation and enterprise AI adoption.

Today my focus is designing and delivering AI-powered workflows that connect business needs, technical feasibility and real-world adoption.
